DIMAPE Brazil Partnership Improves Yupo’s Sales, Service in South America; Superior Branding Qualities of Yupo Substrates Showcased at GOA Event
(CHESAPEAKE, VA – February 25, 2010) Yupo Corporation America will seize the 2010 Graphics of the Americas show in Miami to reemphasize the company’s commitment to serving the South American marketplace (Booth #610). At GOA, the premium synthetic substrate manufacturer will introduce new area contact representatives and announce a new partnership arrangement with DIMAPE Brazil.
“Yupo is pleased to report that South America continues to do very well for us, especially in the blow and injection IML markets,” according to Paul Mitcham, director of marketing and sales support. “Despite the global economic slowdown, YUPO sales have remained strong in South America, which is reflected by our presence here at GOA after being out of the show for some years.”
Brand marketers constantly try new and different advertising approaches to rise above the marketplace clutter to reach consumers. Yupo’s lineup of synthetic papers – such as YUPO Accel, YUPO Original, YUPOBlue, YUPO Translucent – as well as in-mold (both blow and injection IML), pressure sensitive, direct thermal and thermal transfer label substrates, appeal to a wide variety of creative design and commercial applications from marketing materials to merchandising elements to packaging solutions.
“Global brand managers are continually looking for that certain edge that will make their products stand out from the competition, Mitcham said.” Yupo’s durability and fantastic graphics reproduction are well known, and our sustainability benefits continue to be recognized and appreciated over other options, he added.
Yupo-DIMAPE Partnership
“We are also excited to announce at GOA that Yupo is improving service to this market by the joining efforts with DIMAPE in Brazil,” said Mitcham. “DIMAPE is a highly knowledgeable source for YUPO products and we will have excellent representation on the continent providing service to local clients and manufacturers like never before.”
The new Yupo Area Representative, Mr. Mario Sergio Cappellari, of DIMAPE Distribuidora de Materias Primas, will offer a direct contact in this market for Yupo sales and technical assistance. Mr. Cappellari will work out of Sao Paulo, Brazil, (5511) 4193-4900.
Yupo has also joined forces with a DIMAPE sister company in North America, DAIEI Papers (USA) Corp., and will offer service to this part of the world as a distributor. Mrs. Louann Knapp, DaiEi Papers, will operate from Chesapeake, Va., offices; (757) 523-2100.
Yupo representatives will attend GOA at booth #610.
